Animal Shadow Dance Party

Turn your classroom (or your lounge room) into a shadow dance party with a few simple steps.

Turn room lights off and set up a light shining against a clear wall – a torch can work. Play with the shapes you can make on the wall - can you make the shape of a creature? A big animal? A small one? How close to the wall do you need to be to make a clear shadow?

Have an animal shadow dance party! Play this music from the show, made entirely from the sounds of nature (with some young voices in there too) and dance like your favourite animal! Dance like a creature no one has seen before! Watch your shadows twist and change as you move. You could film or photograph this to watch back.
