Geoff Cobham is the Artistic Director of Patch Theatre and one of Australia’s leading culture professionals, with over 40 years’ experience collaborating in all forms of theatre.

His artistic reputation both nationally and internationally comes from an outstanding multi-award-winning career working with several of Australia’s foremost arts organisations and events. He spent ten years as Associate Director of dance theatre Force Majeure, five years as resident designer at State Theatre Company South Australia and has worked in senior management roles at Sydney Festival, Adelaide Festival and WOMAD.

Geoff founded Bluebottle in 1998, an award-winning lighting design company which integrates outstanding lighting design into theatres, galleries, installations, architecture, exhibitions and music.

He has a long and notable history with Patch Theatre, having worked on a variety of productions including The Fastest Boy, Emily Loves to Bounce and Me & My Shadow before taking the reins as Artistic Director in 2018. While at Patch, Geoff has created in-theatre works ZOOOM, I Wish…, and Home and installation works The Lighthouse, Sea of Light, and Mirror Mirror.

With more than thirty years’ experience as an Artistic Director, Dave has directed over 60 productions for and by young people. As Artistic Director of Patch Theatre Company for 20 years, the company gained a national and international reputation for producing world-class quality theatre for 4-8 year old children. Productions from the Patch repertoire, directed by Dave, have been performed at 21 international children’s festivals and venues in the US, Canada, Korea, Japan, Singapore and New Zealand as well as touring Australia nationally for nine consecutive years under the auspices of Playing Australia.

Dave is committed to producing carefully distilled, lovingly thought-through and meticulously rendered theatre for children that seeks optimism in humanity and honours the spirit of resilience that can endure and overcome difficulties.

Over the last 32 years Roz has performed for numerous dance, dance theatre and theatre companies including One Extra Company, Sydney Front, Dance North, Theatre of Image, Sue Healey, Meryl Tankard Co, DV8, and Force Majeure. With these companies she has toured extensively throughout Australia, Europe and South East Asia.

She has choreographed for numerous theatre companies including Brink Theatre Co, Slingsby, and Patch Theatre. From 2001–2012 Roz was Associate Artist with Sydney’s Dance Theatre Company, Force Majeure.

In 2002 she won the Ausdance ‘Outstanding performance by a female dancer’ award for her performance in Force Majeure’s Same Same but Different.

Roz co-directed the award-winning Me & My Shadow and ZOOOM for Patch Theatre and was Associate Director on Force Majeure’s Never did me any Harm.

Roz has taught physical theatre for numerous performing arts colleges, youth theatre companies and universities including Urban Myth Youth Theatre Company, Cirkidz, AC Arts, and Flinders Drama Centre.

From 2000–2016 Roz was as a Co-ordinator and Director/Producer for numerous Festivals and Events including Adelaide Festival, Come Out, SA day, and Bundaleer Sunday Walks. Roz was Director of the Adelaide Fringe Parade from 2013–2016. In 2011 she was the Performance Program Director for Cirkidz, SA Circus Centre.
Roz is currently Creative Producer for Restless Dance Theatre and continues to work as a lecturer for Flinders Drama Centre and as a Movement Consultant and Dramaturg with South Australian Independent Theatre Companies.

Temeka Lawlor is a highly skilled theatre maker and performer based in Adelaide. Since acquiring her Advanced Diploma of Acting from Adelaide College of the Arts in 2017, Temeka has created and performed in award-winning theatre productions, touring regionally and nationally.

Temeka co-created and starred in Patch Theatre’s ZOOOM and co-created Home – she has toured with the company internationally and nationally, performing both ZOOOM and Me & My Shadow.

 In 2018, she performed in the debut of Waxing Lyrical’s Hannah and toured regional Australia with Splash Theatre’s The Book Show. Temeka was part of the original making ensemble for The PaperBoats award-winning show Especially on Birthdays, directed by Dave Brown, and has performed the piece to regional communities in 2020 and 2021 and was awarded Best Children’s Show in the Adelaide Fringe in 2021.

In 2022, Temeka was appointed Associate Artistic Director of The PaperBoats and began the development of her own new show titled Precious Things, which will hold its debut season in 2023.

To compliment her interests in performing and physical theatre, Temeka also practices and teaches yoga.

Angus is a graduate of the Adelaide College of the Arts – attaining his Advanced Diploma of Acting in 2017.

Since graduating Angus has secured varying roles in TV and theatre. He starred in Duncan Graham’s One Long Night in the Land of Nod during Fringe Festival 2018, Chris Isaac’s Flood in 2019 with the Cabbages and Kings Collective and Especially on Birthdays with The PaperBoats in 2021 – all of which won Fringe Weekly Awards in their respective years. He has performed live shows to school audiences with ActNow Theatre Company and educational shows about road safety with RAA. He has also undertaken creative developments with State Theatre Company of South Australia and Slingsby Theatre Company.

Angus appeared in Season 3 of Matchbox Pictures’ and Channel 7’s Wanted starring alongside Rebecca Gibney and Geraldine Hakewill in 2018. He has also worked with ABC and Kojo Sudios in Gruen XL and starred in TVCs for the University of Adelaide and BusinessSA. He appeared in the short film Aquaphobe which premiered at the Adelaide Film Festival in 2020.

Angus’ prior credits with Patch Theatre company include a national tour of Me & My Shadow in 2019 and the premiere season of ZOOOM! also in 2019. He’s very excited to be performing it for you now and hopes you enjoy!

Since 2003 Jason Sweeney has collaborated with some of Australia’s leading performing arts companies and organisations as well as directing and creating a number of his own interactive works for the internet and participatory community engagement projects for galleries and theatre spaces. As a composer of electronic music, he has also been releasing music internationally with Panoptique Electrical and solo project Sweeney. Over the last few years Jason has completed a trilogy of research sound-based works focused on quietness and urban ecologies, including major projects Stereopublic: Crowdsourcing the Quiet which won a TED City2.0 Prize and the research odyssey, Quiet Ecology. In 2021 he released the major double album retrospective Decades (2001-2021).

Michelle 'Maddog' Delaney is a maker of things. Places, spaces, feelings and things – forests in disused buildings, themed bars and bespoke furniture, shattering plaster BMX wheels, Ediacaran based décor, rocket stands and giant cocoons, and more. She has worked as a designer, production manager, builder, scenic artist, stage manager, sourcer and sorcerer for major companies, festivals and independent artists. She likes nothing better than working in great teams to produce beautiful experiences. She is currently Creative Associate at Patch Theatre and, with Geoff Cobham, has co-designed all of Patch’s shows since 2019. Maddog’s design credits include Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2018–2021, Dark Mofo 2018 & 2019, Adelaide Festival 2013–2016, Darwin Festival 2010– 2015, Adelaide Fringe 2007–2009, Ubud Writers & Readers Festival 2012, Red Sky Morning – State Theatre Company of South Australia (2016), and co-design with Meg Wilson on Life is Short and Long – Emma Beech and Vitalstatistix (2016).

Alex is an Adelaide-based technician, working across lighting, sound, and av; specialising in technical/system design. Alex started tech at high school to try and skip class, but it ended up becoming something he fell in love with and eventually turned into a career. Since then, he has worked across theatre, film, live music and events for companies including Patch Theatre, Windmill Theatre Company, Australian Dance Theatre, Restless Dance Theatre, Gravity & Other Myths, Marvel Studios and more. He first worked with Patch during a high school work experience placement. He came in for a week of creative development on The Moon’s a Balloon and helped to build set and lighting elements of the show. After getting into the industry as an adult he found his way back to Patch and has become the System Designer, Touring Technician and Operator on most of Patch’s shows/productions.

Luku Kukuku is South Australia’s favourite multidisciplinary multimedia guru, well known for his specialities of Art, Design, Animation, Digital Media, Interactivity and Sound Responsive Multimedia. For over a decade, Luku has been using this varied palette of skills to forge an expanding and award winning career in the Australian art landscape.

The magic of imagination, the delight of creativity, and the thrill of light, colour, and motion constantly drive Luku to strive towards new forms of artistic expression which fully capture the revolutionary tools at our disposal at this wonderful point in history.
